<THE SHARKS WITH HUNGRY>

Doctor John Carey decided, it was time to go home. It had been a usual day, a day among such days in many years.Этот текст будет скрыт He had filled his bag with seashells enough to study for a month.
The island was a good place to find shells. But now the Sun was going down. He picked up his bag of shells and walk toward the edge of the island. He came to the sand reef that connected the island and the shore of mainland. He stopped for a moment to enjoy the sun sat on ocean water. Then he began to walk along the sand reef toward the shore. He walked slowly stopping of few time to rest. The gray colors of evening were beginning to spread across the ocean and the sand.
Suddenly he stepped into the water. Before he knew what had happened, he dropped down and down. The water was covering his head. He rose to the top of the water struggling to get back on to the dry sand. He sat down wet and surprised, that he suddenly dropped.
He saw a long grey shark. He stopped and looked around. He saw the shark swimming toward the shore. And then he saw other sharks, 5, 6, 7 of them. But where was the sand reef? What had happened? He began to walk back toward the island.
There was nothing between him and the shore, but water and sharks. The strong ocean waves had rushed a large part of the sand reef away. It was too dark. He decided not to swim. He wanted to see the enemy, if he was to fight it. He looked around for his bag of shells and found it of few meter away. He pulled the bag on to dry sand and sat down. The wind was warm. The star began to show.The moon rose, the water looked peaceful, quiet and yellow in the moon light.
The gentle noise of night soon made him sleep, but not for long. He thought of the people in the village his friends. They needed him. He was the doctor, the only doctor in the village. He thought of wood for fire, wood to signal for help. But there was no wood. Then he thought of food. He was hungry. But hunger was the smallest problem. The ocean was filled with fish, if he could catch one. But hunger at first could wait. At last he thought of sleep. It came at last. He slept until the sun rose. When he got up he looked the water. It was clear and dream. The shacks were there because the fish were there. He looked at the sea. If he swam through the water, he would be in the water 5-6 minutes.
He decided to swim. But first he looked all around. There were no fishermen and boat anywhere. He kept only his belt and his small knife. The shacks were the barrows and silently slept in the water. He pulled his knife from his belt...
